Take your personal practice to the next level

Would you like to deepen your practice ? Take your practice further than physical exercise.


Lead with your body and breath. If possible, close your eyes in a pose and connect with your body and breath. Begin your practice by deepening your breath and move with your breath throughout the sequence.


Energy flows where intention goes - set an intention for your practice.

Incorporating Pranayama (Control of the breath) into your practice will take your practice deeper. Pranayama is also a great way to prepare for meditation.


Other ways to take your practice to the next "level"

Spend some time reading, some light flicking through of the pages of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali or other related books or reading the summaries will be impactful.


Take yoga home with you, developing a steady personal practice at home really allows you to tap into your inner being and creates a different experience, a deeper inward one.
